CHAKWAL: Two boys drowned while taking a bath in a village dam here at Turkwal village on Friday.

Mujahid Khan and Ameer Dost, both were residents of Dair district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and were settled in the Turkwal village located on the border with Rawalpindi.

Both friends went to bathe in a village dam, where one of them slipped into deepwater and drowned.

The other too drowned while trying to rescue his friend.

People of the village rushed to the scene after getting information, and called the Rescue 1122 and police, who fished out their bodies after a hectic effort.
