SRINAGAR, Dec 16: Jammu and Kashmir Mass Movement Chairperson, Farida Behanji, while condemning Thursday’s attack on the Indian parliament in New Delhi has said that the matter should be investigated through international organizations so that the veracity of Indian government’s claims could be unveiled, reports Kashmir Media Service.

In a statement in Srinagar, Farida Behanji said that India “has the habit of accusing Kashmiris for every thing” in order to make them target of its wrath.

How can the people of Kashmir commit terrorism while they themselves have been suffering India’s state terrorism for the past half a century.

Farida Behanji asserted that Indian secret agencies “are behind the whole drama carried out at the parliament house.” She added that India’s own agencies were ultimately found to have been stage-managing such incidents in the past.

J&K Mass Movement chief also flayed the Indian press and media for maligning the Kashmiris in order to help Indian government to suppress the ongoing freedom struggle in Kashmir.

She said despite all tactics India had miserably failed to contain the freedom struggle in Kashmir. She called upon the international community and world organizations to examine Thursday’s incident in New Delhi and similar “state-managed events” taking place in India and determine who is the real culprit.

She urged the world community to discard India’s propaganda and admit the realities and help redress grievances of the people of Kashmir.

Meanwhile, various other Kashmir leaders and organizations have also strongly denounced India “for hatching conspiracies to implicate Pakistan and Kashmiri organizations in terrorism cases” and adopting a threatening posture towards Pakistan and the AJK.

Reacting over the Indian drama of attacking its parliament and blaming Pakistan and Kashmiri freedom organizations for the act, they said New Delhi, after failing to convince opposition parties over the enforcement of the controversial Ordinance POTO, planned a drama to achieve two targets in this bloody action: one to damage the posture of the ongoing freedom movement in Occupied Kashmir and involve Pakistan and, two, to gain support of the opposition parties which have been constantly opposing the black law since its enforcement by the BJP-led extremist government in India.

They said as a believer of Islam no Muslim could involve in such a crime, saying Islam is a peaceful religion and forbids its followers from committing inhuman and brutal acts.—APP
