Anti-government protesters take cover from tear-gas fired by the police as they clash during a funeral procession for fellow protester Sayed Mohsen, in the village of Sitra south of Manama. Mohsen died on May 21, after clashes between security forces and demonstrators marking the third day of mourning for a man killed by a bomb blast a week before, witnesses and activists said. The Interior Ministry said that the police in Sitra had reacted after they had been attacked by fire-bombs during clashes.

Regardless of demand of majority population the Bahrain govt, fully assisted by Arab countries
especially Saudis, is continuing to suppress the uprising and also involved in torture acts as rightly pointed out by HR organizations. As to why the UN and its relevant body is not taking any action against Bahrain is a big question. HR violations of other countries, even if minor in nature are always highlighted but atrocities of Bahrain govt are mostly overlooked.

I live here, we are tortured daily by protesters, who burn tires and throw Molotov cocktails or petrol bombs daily. They attack police and civilians. What difference does it make where a law enforcement officer is from?

@Mirza Amazing comments that's mean repression against the majority of population is ok and oppressed people have no right to protest and usurpers have all the rights to suppress rightful demand of majority

@Mirza tortured daily? is it physical torture or are you just inconvenienced. From your name it seems you are not a local, but perhaps a foreign worker there. It is the right of the local population to demand democracy. you are guest in their country dont forget that.
