LAHORE: Balochistan with seven gold medals, three silver aggregated 165 points to win the National Junior Karate Championship in Rawalpindi,according to a message received here on Monday.
WAPDA with three gold medals, two silver and five bronze medals, seized the second spot, aggregating 120 points. Sindh grabbed two gold, three silver and six bronze medals to claim third spot with 110 points in their credit.
Sind won the national cadet championship, claiming three gold, one silver and four bronze medals and obtained 75 points. Islamabad (two gold, three silver, one bronze, 65 points) remained second.
More than 180 boys and girls from WAPDA, Police, Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkwa, Islamabad and FATA participated in the championships.
