SWABI: The intending pilgrims have been asked to receive the necessary training for trouble-free pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia.

Speaking at the launch of the Haj training programme at Kalu Khan here on Tuesday, members of the Hajj training committee said the training was meant to make the pilgrims’ stay in Saudi Arabia comfortable and hassle-free.

Selected candidates of both the government and private schemes attended the training. Mohammad Hayat Khan, central chairman of the Hajj committee, was the key speaker on the occasion.The participants were informed that the next Hajj training would be held at Kalu Khan on June 15, the third session at the residence of provincial health minister, Shahram Khan Tarakai on June 21, while the remaining trainings would be conducted after Eidul Fitr.

Mr Hayat said that the committee members remained in constant contact with the religious ministry so that all the required steps could be taken to enable the intending Hajis to perform their pilgrimage according to the Islamic injunctions.

Saeedullah Khan, district president of the Hajj training committee, said that those who attended the training had learnt a lot and would not face any difficulty in the performance of the important religious ritual.

LOADSHEDDING SCHEDULE: The Peshawar Eclectic Supply Company on Tuesday announced that there would be 12-hour loadshedding in the district.

However, Pesco officials were not in a position to say what would be the strategy during the holy month of Ramazan.
