KOHAT, July 14: The local administration called in Frontier Constabulary (FC) on Monday to control the situation after the body of the fifth victim of Quetta bomb blast was brought here on Sunday.

Talking to Dawn Nazim of Ustarzai and Chairman of Ittehad Bainul Muslimeen Syed Mahtabul Hassan said that he had assured the administration in the current circumstances that nobody would disturb the peace in the region.

A Jirga held here on Monday also decided that the elders of the region would make every effort to calm down the Shia community.

The staff of Ustarzai police station said that the decision had been made by the administration after receiving reports that some elements from Orakzai Agency and the villages of Sherkot, Alizai and Ustarzai would try to disturb the peace in the area.

They said that the personnel of Thall Scouts, who were patrolling the area, would be replaced by the Frontier Constabulary .

The Frontier Constabulary would be deployed at all sensitive points and would patrol the areas on Hangu road in Kohat and along the route leading to Orakzai Agency, they added.
