Yes because nothing speaks empowerment better than asking women to get dolled up and parade their bodies and their clothes - the latter being the only possible thing women could be concerned about - in an industry rife with drug abuse and exploitation. Riiiight. The guys are right about this if we think this is empowering us.

@Amina Siddiqui : There's nothing wrong in having a healthy fashion circuit. Its afterall, much better than blind religious belief...

@Amina Siddiqui so would you rather stone them to death as recently in Lahore? I will take this fashion empowerment a million times over as it gives women power and men to tow the line. There are not just men but a huge number of women controlling things in this industry. Let's stop being negative and be constructive.

Thank you Amina, now I am satisfied that our sisters can think what is good and what is bad and they are not completely driven by others
Mr. Abbas and Bob, who said stoning is good
We are against that but it does not mean that we favour to make woman show pieces

It's vain, and foolish to inscribe empowerment with photos of fashion models. I think empowerment associated with Mukhtaran Mai's photo conveys the message very well.

suave and tastefully done. Bring back the good old days of fashion and social evenings.

I like the healthy part as it goes with health and health goes with body.
As far as women empowerment is concerned
