Independent media is essential to get the full picture - I hope no innocent people become victim of propaganda by either party. We need to remember that at the end of the day we are dealing with our own citizens and fellow Muslims.

@Aurang The idea of allowing media to go into the the battle field is impossible. Media is NOT independent. The journalist create hype to increse their ratings. Showing ruins, rubbles and amputed bodies will compel people to concern and watch again and again. In this way media will malign army internationally.

The Army is fighting the war and the poor Nation is taking the burden of its expanses. Besides the locals being displaced. Unfortunately no long term stretigic planning has been done. Looks like the Government has left everything to the Army and is itself sleeping. No policy making has been done to keep a check on the the sanctuaries, the Madrissahs, that are churning out fighting machines and are host to criminals. In such condition, the existing vicous cycle will continue. May be it is in the
interest of someone too.

Sad to see so many people die. But one has to accept it in the larger interest. More important is to eliminate radicalism from the society and the residents, make them partners in fighting the menace and gathering intelligence from them. Yes, its easier said than done.

@Aurang
Those who have constantly and over several years bombed, destroyed, and murdered innocent civilians and soldiers alike all across the country deserve no leniency irrespective of them being Muslims or not.
They have earned the worst wrath of Pakistani nation and must be annihilated completely with no reserve.

Any civilians killed? Or is it that only the American DRONES killed civilians and the Pak Air Force is so good that it only hits the Terrorists.
