PESHAWAR: The home and tribal affairs department has asked all the federal and provincial ministries to inform the department at least seven days before visit of any foreigner to a specified place in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to a statement issued here on Monday, the home department asked the ministries/departments to keep a gap of seven days prior to the actual visit dates of any sponsored foreigners so the process of NOCs could be completed well in time.

The prior intimation was essential so that well coordinated and foolproof security arrangements could be made and issued to the authorities concerned.

The security providers, said the statement, required at least five working days in advance before actual visit dates for the visiting foreigners in order to avoid any embarrassment.
