Yeah.. Just a question. Why almost all of these pictures are either under exposed or over exposed. some washed out and some taken from an ancient cellphone camera..?

@Moiz Omar you are right 'pakistan is such a beautiful country' but its image has been tarnished by these few corrupt top politicians from PML(n) and PPP

True, a photographer can always make a country more beautiful. This one hasn't. I have been to these places myself and I found them more beautiful then these pictures.

Just type 'northern areas of Pakistan' on 'Google' search and click on 'images', you will be able to see hundreds of pictures more beautiful than these. Poor quality pictures.

Not sure why Dawn published these photographs. The quality is incredibly poor.
No offence to the photographer. I'm sure he can do better.

I know the picture quality is perhaps not the best... but I think the important aspect are the subject and scenery....
Don't know why we Pakistanis are obsessed with just criticism in everything..... which is the least of an islamic character....

Even with these pictures, one can appreciate the beauty of Pakistan. What a pity that bomb-vested, AK47 clad fundamentalists crawl out of every rock in these beautiful lands! I am sure that if Pakistan reclaims its secular image (religion at home in private; not a state policy) and tames the wild-eyed, the world tourist would come knocking in droves.

Egypt has only one historical point and their economy depends a lot of on it. Pakistan have Mohenjo daro, Harapa , Kot Diji and others.Nepal has only one Mountain and all economy depends on tourism. Pakistan have mountainous area. Swat, Bala Kot Naran Kaghan Saif ul Malouk lake and others lakes which are not discovered yet.In June & July when temperature goes to 50+C Pakistan have some area where temperature remain -50C repeated -50C.

@PakObserver. Only Muslims think that religion is separate than state. Please open eyes guys... Israel is founded on religion and entire American economy is supporting it. Please think big.

Just a suggestion - please do not post pictures of young children. The world is a very corrupt place and the internet is a gateway to the world.

@Agon Becasue Media is more active there and it reports the atrocities and we are not in denial like Pakistan. On the other hand, its a well known fact that same number of rapes go unreported in Pakistan.
