KHUZDAR: Two people were killed in different incidents in Khuzdar district on Friday, police said.
Gunmen on a motorbike opened fire on a rickshaw driver in Bazgar area of Khuzdar town. Driver Mohammad Azam received bullet wounds and was shifted to a hospital where he died.
The cause of the attack could not be known but a man was arrested for his suspected involvement in the murder.
Meanwhile, a man was killed and another injured when a Quetta-bound container overturned after hitting a bridge. The container was carrying buffaloes to Quetta from Karachi.
The injured and the body were shifted to the Khuzdar hospital.
