GUJRANWALA: The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has gifted an old aircraft F-7 to the people of Gujranwala which is being installed near the Model Town crossing on GT Road.

A meeting chaired by Gujranwala Division Commissioner Shumail Ahmad Khwaja had decided to request the PAF authorities for the provision of an old aircraft to be installed in the city as part of the beautification project.

GDA Director-General Syed Hasan Raza Jaffry wrote to the PAF authorities which accepted the request and sent the aircraft to the site in a trailer.

The GDA authorities say the process of installation of the aircraft will be completed within a few days.
