Thousands of pro-Palestinian demonstrators turned out on the streets of London, Paris, Rome, New York, and other cities to call for an end to Israeli military strikes on Gaza.
Below is a collection of images showing the views of demonstrations held across the world as the the death toll from the 4-day-old conflict rose above 100 on Friday.
Italy
Palestinians and Italian pro-Palestine supporters, a few hundred of them, gathered near the Colosseum on Friday to mark the anniversary of the construction of the West-Bank barrier in Jerusalem and to protest against continuing occupation in Palestinian lands. Protesters shouted anti-Israel slogans and erected a cardboard wall to symbolize the West Bank barrier.

Just as Pakistan has right to protect itself from terrorists, bomb them from air, displace close to a million people, so too Israel does. Israel is simply responding to the terrorism of Hamas.

@ajmal kasab Unless military occupation of West Bank and Palestinian territories ends - nothing will settle -- It reminds of Mughal - e - Azam film -- Great Akbar said to his kaneez - mother of anar kali - "Kudrat tum ko mernay nahi deygi - and main tum ko chian say zinda nahee rhainay dun ga " ( god will not let u die - and I wont let u live in peace ). Hamas - Hizbullah can not destroy Israel - but Israel can not have both peace and occupation - Same way Mr. Ajmal Kasab - Mr. Modi will never have welcome mat in SriNagar and Indian Military Occupation simultaneously. @Rani Sharma ZERO Israelis have died. Palestinian rockets are a couple of kilos of explosives, IDF bombs are 500-1000kilos. In 2008 the IDF 'Operation Cast Lead' killed 762 Palestinian civilians including more than 300 children, compared to 3 Israeli civilians.
