QUETTA: A man was shot dead and another injured in Kechi Baig area here on Monday evening, police said.
“Armed men opened indiscriminate fire on two people in Kechi Baig, Sariab road area, leaving one of them dead and the other seriously injured,” police said, adding that the assailants escaped after the incident. The dead and the injured were taken to hospital where the condition of the injured was said to be critical. The cause of the attack could not be ascertained immediately.—Staff Correspondent
