Israel began its campaign against militants in the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip, saying it was responding to heavy rocket fire from the densely populated territory. A week of fighting killed approximately 192 Palestinians despite world calls for peace.

The protesters are absolutely right. What Israel is doing to the Palestinians is intolerable. As fellow human beings we have a duty to speak out - its got nothing to do with religion.
That said, I would like there to be demonstrations outside the Chinese Embassy to protest at their treatment of Uighar Muslims. I suspect the Government would take a different view of such protests.

This is more of a political stint. I think we should worry about our own survival rather than political matters of other countries and regions. I think first we should worry if we have water, health, education, and basic security for all Pakistanis in Pakistan including MINORITIES. Lets just control the hate that is in Pakistan first!!!!!!!

why havent you put up the photos of hamas firing rockets from civilian areas trying to kill Israelites? Israel has early warning systems and interception technology and hence avoid their own human causalities. Hamas has no value for their own people and fires missiles from populated areas? since when is firing rockets into civilian areas not a crime??

As a Canadian-Pakistani I am proud that Pakistanis back home are supporting the Gazans struggle for freedom and dignity. Long live Palestine!
But by the same token it will not be fair if I do not mention how ruthlessly and insultingly the minorities, (Hindus, Christians and even Muslims included) are being treated by the fanatics in Pakistan.

While the killings in middle east are upsetting and tragic, honestly, we have our hands full when it comes to our own land. There are more than 30 Arab countries. Let them condemn these killings if they are interested. I have hardly seen them taking interest. Why are we unnecessarily taking the lead ?

street demonstration does not help Palistinians in Gaza at all, but street demonstrations does display helplessness to the civilized world.
Instead of street demonstrations, asserting practical ways that help the Gazans would be more beneficial, so keep your energy and stay at home because you're embarrassing yourself.

@Thinker It's not about poking into others matters. It's actually to protest against inhuman acts and murders of innocent people regardless of their ethnicity religion and country. We Pakistanis are also the victim of the same horrible inhuman acts and we are trying to at least deliver message to stop these killings and murders. Thanks!

This is absolutely a double standard. I would like to see Pakistanis marching on the street against ISIS and their activities first. ISIS is now forcing other religions to either pay tax or get killed. This is far more threatening and insulting the religion than Israel who is atleast fighting a terrorist organisation called Hamas.

Stupidity of Hamaas action in Gaza.
There is no use of demonstrating and showing sympathy to Palestinians in Gaza. Leadership of Hamaas is in stupid hands. They pick a fight with an enemy who is much more powerful and smarter. When will muslims in Pakistan stop following similar leaders of Jamaa-i-Islami blindly?

@Magister Ludi. Dear, If others are doing wrong, it should not become the cause of us also doing wrong. Secondly, being a democracy (despite all your problems), your values r supposed to be far better than undemocratic clan based monarchies. Pakistan is going through a rough patch but it does not mean that we are not civilized people and civilized people do not divide humans in to races, religions, color and creed. If u dont want to support Arabs and even Muslims, please raise ur voice for brutalities against humans. They are killing children and women and old civilians. Pls support as much as u can.
