HYDERABAD: Leaders of almost all religious parties who led rallies across the province on Friday for the war-torn Gaza and against Israel’s inhuman assault on civilians, urged the world and Muslim countries to use their clout to immediately stop the aggression.

In Hyderabad, a number of religious parties took out separate rallies and strongly condemned the Zionist state and champions of human rights who remained tight-lipped on the heinous crimes being perpetrated by Israel.

It was impossible to end cruelty against Muslims until all Muslims got united and paid Israel in the same coin, said a leader of Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat, Allama Abdul Samad Haidri while leading a rally.

Muslim countries urged to get raids stopped

He demanded Pakistan government raise voice against Israel at international level and urge international forces to resolve the longstanding Palestinian issue.

Activists of Tanzeem-i-Islami, residents of Liaquat Colony and Hirabad also held demonstrations against Israeli aggression and expressed solidarity with Palestinians.

Sukkur

Activists of Jamiat Ulema-i-Pakistan (JUP) and Jamaat-i-Islami (JI) took out rallies in Sukkur and Jacobabad to express solidarity with Palestinian Muslims and condemn Israeli attacks on Gaza.

The president of JUP Sindh chapter, Mufti Ibrahim Qadri, who led a big rally after Friday prayers in Sukkur said that many innocent men, women and children had been martyred in relentless and merciless Israeli bombardment on Gaza.

It appeared the UN had no authority to take any action against Israeli atrocities while the Arab world was dumbfounded, not knowing how to react while the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation whose moral responsibility it was to raise voice against any wrong meted out to any Muslim across the globe was also silent, he regretted.

He said the JUP was observing the day as a protest day in Sindh and demanded the government must raise its voice for Palestinians and use all its resources to compel Israel to stop the inhuman and unequal war.

He appealed to Ulema, prayer leaders, religious scholars and leaders of civil society to pass resolutions against Israeli aggression.

In Jacobabad, activists of JI staged a rally in which leaders urged all Muslim countries to get united and support Palestine.

They said the world community should take notice of the brazen atrocities meted out by Israel to hapless Palestinians and use their clout to stop the war on Gaza.

Activists of Tehreek-i-Ahle Sunnat also took out a rally in Jacobabad and its participants held a sit-in outside the press club to protest against war on Gaza.

Mirpurkhas

Activists of JI and Sunni Action Committee took out separate rallies against Israeli aggression after Friday prayers in which hundreds of people took part.

Sunni Action Committee leader Hafiz Attaullah Haidery said that Israeli forces were committing war crimes against Muslims.

All Muslims must get united to force Israel to stop the unilateral war against Palestinian brethren.

JI leaders condemned the Israeli aggression and urged Muslim countries to intervene in the war to save innocent Palestinians from Israeli cruelties.

Badin

Workers of different political and social organisations took out a rally to register protest against relentless attacks on Gaza.

The rally leaders strongly condemned massacre of innocent civilians by Israeli forces and urged Muslim countries particularly Arabs to play their role to stop the killings.

Shikarpur

A large number of JI activists staged a rally against Israeli aggression in which representatives of nationalist parties including JSQM and Qaumi Awami Tehreek also participated.

The protesters strongly condemned the Israeli aggression and demanded Pakistan government should call upon the United Nations to interfere in the war to stop Israeli atrocities.
