RAIWAND: Law enforcement agencies said on Thursday that an alleged terrorist leader involved in the Raiwand gunbattle had been arrested along with 18 other suspected terrorists, DawnNews reported.

Security forces conducted operations in Okara, D.G Khan, Lahore, Islamabad, Lahore and Rahim Yar Khan and claimed to have detained suspects linked to the attack. Two of the suspects arrested were women.

The alleged mastermind of gang, identified as Molvi Ishaq, was arrested from Hujra Shah Muqeem in Okara district after the security forces raided the area.

Another Raiwind terror suspect identified

Earlier on July 17, two suspected terrorists and an official of an intelligence agency were killed and four others, including a military officer, injured during a 10-hour operation after security forces raided a house near Raiwind Road.
