GUJRAT: A 10-year-old boy from Chak Bhola village was left grievously injured when his arms were chopped off, DawnNews reported on Thursday.
The son of an influential landowner allegedly pushed the minor onto a machine in the village on the outskirts of Gujrat over a minor altercation two days earlier, which left his limbs severed from his body. The boy was shifted to District Headquarters Hospital Gujrat for treatment.
The incident emerged today after a FIR was filed by the police at Saddar police station in Gujrat.
Police claimed arresting a 24-year-old suspect as a probe into the incident was launched.

Horrendous and disgusting. The nation should rally to ensure the perpetrator doesn't escape from justice. Although he most likely will.

Heinous crime by a son of influential landlord but he will be set free without punishment. God willing it will be vice versa one day.

Nothing will happen to the landlord .... Punjab is as worse as FATA when it comes to human rights violations and feudal brutality. I have yet to hear that any landlord who any committed crime was punished.

Is this true? Did it happen? I am crying for this poor boy.
It's no wonder that I have not visited Pakistan in over 30 years. I thank Allah (swt) that I was born in the UK and by Allah's (swt) mercy allowed me to bring up my children in the UK in a good way. A non muslim civilised stable country.
Pakistan culture is barbaric with the rich getting richer and more powerful. The poor getting poorer and with no rights what's so ever.
I can only see one man who can sort out the mess that Pakistan has got itself into. That man is Imran Khan of PTI. He's not perfec by any means at least his heart is in the right place. What has military leaders and so called democratic leaders done for Pakistan so far for the last 25 years?

He needs to be behind bars for life. The term "influential" should mean nothing, in front of the law and justice system of Pakistan.

Even if the culprit is arrested, some influential will come and take him away from the police station. Read one of today's headline news. The guy who invaded the police station to free his cronies got "protective bail".

The guy will never see the inside of a court, small money donated to the village, the boys family, and some police and the remaining to folks in the judicial system. THAT IS WHY PAKISTAN is one of the most corrupt countries in the world! You can get away with all kinds of crime with the almighty $$, that is why the country will never dig its way out of the hole it is in. It is sad that the boy has no rights because he is the common working person family or poor family. Rape, murder, mutilation, corruption, violence, it's a criminals and devils paradise. No amount of praying will fix Pakistan unless everyone looks in the mirror and look into their soul. May Allah bring tragedy to all the soulless people there.
