SAHIWAL: Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Sahiwal, controller examination Syed Tahir Jafferi said on Friday at least 48,589 candidates appeared in the annual matric examinations and 31,436 among them were declared successful with a pass percentage of 64.7.

Shahzaib Ahmed of District Public School, Okara, stood first with 1,071 marks while Kasmala Irfan of Divisional Public School stood second with 1,062 marks and Anam Yousaf of Government Girls Model School No 1, Sahiwal, stood third by securing 1,051 marks.

ARTS GROUP (Boys): Zohaib Ali of Bristol College, Pakpattan, secured first position by obtaining 935 marks while Zeeshan Hussain of Government Islamia High School, Okara, bagged second position by securing 922 marks and Rafaqat Ali of Government High School, 69/EB, Pakpattan, clinched third position by getting 904 marks.

ARTS GROUP (Girls): Rimsha Khan of Government Girls High School, Sahiwal, stood first with 1,031 marks while Mubeen Bashir of Government Girls High School, Anwar Shaheed Colony, Renala Khurd, got second position with 991 marks and Iqra Rafiq of Government Girls MC High School, Sahiwal, third position with 990 marks.
