Waseem falls in Commonwealth Games final

GLASGOW: After an impressive run in Commonwealth Games underway in Glasgow, Pakistani pugilist Mohammad Waseem lost his final bout to Australian boxer Andrew Molony on Saturday.

The loss means that Waseem will clinch the silver medal.

Fighting for the title of 52-Kg fly weight category, Molony proved to be a tough opponent and recorded a unanimous point decision to clinch the gold medal.

Pakistan has won a total of four silver medals and a bronze medal in the event, which concludes Sunday.
