ISLAMABAD: The National Ranking Tennis Championship began at the PTF Complex on Saturday.

Unseeded Hamza Abjad made the major upset in the boys’ under-18 singles main draw when he eliminated seventh seed Hamza Bin Asif 6-3, 6-2.

All winners moved to the next round after winning their respective matches.

Earlier, PTF president Kaleem Imam and vice president Sultan Maqsood inaugurated the event.
