KARACHI: The 33rd edition of STA Development Series Ranking tennis championship commenced at the Union Club on Wednesday. Amin Shafi won a marathon match against Hania Naveed in three sets in the first round of boys & girls under-15 singles.

Mens Singles (1st round): Nouman Aftab beat Sahibzada Muhammad Amin 6-0, 6-1
Juniors Under-17 Singles ( first round) Ibrahim Iltifat beat Sahibzada Amin 6-1, 6-0
Under-15 Singles: Muhammad Raza Sawani beat Muhammad Hamza 6-0, 6-1; Amin Shafi beat Hania Naveed 6-7 ( 5) 7-6. (2) , 10-2;
Ebad Sarwar beat Muhammad Ahmed 6-2, 6-3.
