LAHORE: The Pakistan Awami Tehreek workers came out with clubs in their hands to protect their leader Allama Tahirul Qadri and blocked some roads of Model Town around the Minhajul Quran Secretariat on Wednesday.

The youth wings of the PAT and Tehreek Minhajul Quran armed with clubs were roaming the streets around the secretariat and they had blocked some roads.

Talking to this reporter, a group of more than 20 teenagers armed with clubs said they were on the guard duty to ensure safety of Tahirul Qadri.
