GWADAR: Six people were kidnapped in Pasni and Turbat on Wednesday.

According to sources, gunmen barged into the house of one Mullah Yousuf in Kolanch area of Pasni and took away four people.

They were identified as Mohammad Musa, his brother Khair Bakhsh, Rasheed and Sabir.

Mullah Yousuf belongs to the Balochistan National Party-Mengal. He was elected member of the district council in the local government elections held in December last year.

In another incident, armed men intercepted a vehicle in Jusak area of Turbat and took away the driver and a man who was identified as Mohammad Azim.

Security officials said they had started investigation after receiving information about the two incidents.
