Qadri using students to 'shield' himself: Baloch

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for States and Frontier Regions (Safron) Lt Gen Retd Abdul Qadir Baloch said on Tuesday that Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri was using Minhajul Quran students to shield himself from the law, DawnNews reported.

The Safron minister said that Dr Qadri speaks about revolution while rejecting the constitution.

He further said that the aims of those holding 'Long marches' are unclear and Dr Qadri does consider Pakistani citizens as able enough to be told about his agenda.

The statements comes as Islamabad braces for protest marches led by Imran Khan and Tahirul Qadri who have vowed to topple the government of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

The two plan to march on August 14 when Pakistan celebrates its independence day accompanied by thousands of supporters as they claim that last year's general election was rigged.

That's absolutely true. Mr. Qadri is brainwashing youth to achieve his personal an political goals. People should understand and know his tact. I'm not a supporter of PML(N). But we learnt a lot from this situation. One of that is a "Molvi" can't lead this nation. He is always aggressive, emotional and provocative. And I'm sure that Students in his schools are taught something else that seems abnormal. We request Govt to take serious actions to stop such people trying to impose their own ideology. If someone wants to serve the people, he can even if he is not in Govt. We have an excellent example of Mr.Abdul Sattar Edhi. WE ARE PROUND OF HIM.

Mr. Qadri is the only religious personality who is actually promoting harmoney between different religious sect. What we have seen and read about Pakistan is that the sinful killing carried out by different political and religious group is either shelerted or simply ignored by the administration. Sheraze and MSD dont kid yourself.
