KARACHI: The PIA is in the process of acquiring more aircraft for its fleet and has received the delivery of the third A320 aircraft on wet lease, which arrived at the Karachi Airport on Tuesday.

This has increased the operational fleet of PIA to 28 aircraft.

Briefing journalists, PIA Managing Director Shahnawaz Rehman said that with the induction of the latest aircraft, the airline would be in a better position to offer improved services to its passengers and at the same time it would benefit the PIA in terms of fuel savings which was a major cost factor for an airline.
