THE Quaid-i-Azam Residency in Ziarat, which was destroyed in a rocket attack last year, has been restored and inaugurated by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. This is a good step taken by the prime minister as this building was an asset to Pakistan.
The restoration of the building cost over Rs140m. But what about the Quaid’s articles in the building that were reduced to ashes?
There is a need for protecting this newly-constructed building so that a calamity like the June 2013 incident is not repeated.
