My o my! The Meera Jee is doing theatre. Her first stint on stage in Lahore apparently has done pretty well. Last week, showbiz buffs flocked to the theatre hall where she’s performing to see Meera dazzle them with her eloquence and class.
That’s not it. Listen to what the actress said when she was asked to comment on her experience on stage. She said all great actors like Naseeruddin Shah and Shabana Azmi have done theatre. Hence her foray into that domain! Seriously? Can anyone name Naseeruddin Shah, Shabana Azmi and Meera in the same breath?
