ISLAMABAD: Addressing Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) supporters in Islamabad, party chief Dr Tahirul Qadri on Saturday said that he would reveal his charter of demands for a ‘revolution’ in his speech at 4 pm today, DawnNews reported.
Qadri said that he had stood by his supporters during the past 38 hours and would continue to stand by them for the victory of democracy.
He said that he appreciated the spirit of his supporters and also called upon them to remain calm.
Underscoring that his party had rejected violence and terrorism, the PAT chief said party protesters would not succumb to it at any cost.
He said the party would offer martyrdom but would not respond to bullets with retaliatory firing.
Qadri said his residence and the Minhajul Quran secretariat in Lahore had been raided yet the party had never retaliated and had remained non-violent.
