Thanks Dawn for showing the true democratic nature of Muslim Pakistan. Because we are at ease with our own national identity we have no qualms in showing other religions while others show hate of Muslims and Christians in their country. We are proud Pakistan

@Zak : these picture were not taken in Pakistan. They are from India, Bangladesh and Nepal. How are these pictures showing religious tolerance of Pakistan?? if you think that allowing these pictures to publish in a Pakistani newspaper is tolerance then, no need to justify!!

Hare krishna.Very beautiful pix indeed and even more beautiful is the attempt by a newspaper "The dawn" from an Islamic republic. I really appreciate it. I should ask conservatives of both religion if you all learn to respect beliefs, customs and traditions of each other. This subcontinent will become the best place to dwell. Because the culture N heritage we both posses is rarest..so please don't fight don't tend to be supreme on each other. The ultimate supreme is that God. Aapreciate eid celebrations appreciate deepawali celebrations and see the ultimate positive outcome in terms of prosperity N harmony. Thanks dawn. Keep it up.

@zak For you information, in India Non-Hindu Festivities are not alien things. Everybody knows and take part in them. So no special treatment to any festivals. Indian news paper treat every festival equally. It seems from all Pakistani comments that mentioning of Non-Muslim festival is a strange thing in your country.

@zak why should India post Pakistan's photos. Indian papers will post festivities of their own indian Muslims photos taken in own land. Likewise pakistan should publish festivities of their pakistani Hindus. That will show your tolerance.

@Hhh The kind of appreciation coming from the Pakistani commenter shows how this is an unusual thing for them. They are not used of this things. That shows how many Hindus are left in Pakistan.
