LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf MPAs will submit their resignations to the speaker on Wednesday (today).

Opposition Leader in the Punjab Assembly Mahmoodur Rashid told reporters on Tuesday the PTI had decided to quit the house to express their protest at the 'rigged' government.

He said as PTI MNAs had already submitted their resignations to the National Assembly secretariat, he too had returned from Islamabad to submit resignations of the MPAs which he had already collected from the members.

The resignations, he said, would be handed over to Speaker Rana Muhammad Iqbal on Wednesday (today).

He said a paper on 'bad' governance of the Punjab government would also be released.

The opposition leader demanded immediate registration of an FIR in the Model Town incident after the Lahore High Court upheld the sessions' court decision and also sought resignation of both the prime minister and the chief minister as demanded by the heirs of Model Town shooting victims.
