KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) MPAs in the Sindh Assembly submitted their resignations in the assembly secretariat.

PTI has four MPAs in the Sindh Assembly — Syed Hafeezuddin (PS-93), Samar Ali Khan (PS-113), Seema Yazdani Zia (PS-159) and Khurram Sher Zaman (PS-112) — and all have tendered resignations.

The resignations came as PTI is engaged in protests and sit-ins in the federal capital against what it calls "massive rigging" in the 2013 general elections.

Thirty-one MNAs of the party resigned from the National Assembly recently whereas 29 PTI MPAs in Punjab tendered their resignations last week. The party has however refused to resign from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa where it has been leading the government.
