LAHORE: The Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf, Punjab, leadership has said the PML-N government is itself responsible for the cancellation of Chinese president’s visit to Pakistan.

In a statement issued here on Thursday, PTI Punjab President Ejaz Chaudhry and Secretary-General Dr Yasmin Rashid said the PML-N government could have resolved the political crisis ahead of Chinese president’s visit if it was a well-wisher of the masses. They said the government should do away with its hypocrisy.

Dr Yasmin said the PTI was fighting for the cause of the masses as the incumbent government was increasing utility bills and pushing the masses against the wall. She said the ‘status quo’ powers had got united and standing against the welfare of the masses.

Meanwhile, PTI Chairman Imran Khan as well as the Punjab leadership have condoled the death of innocent people due to heavy rains.

They stressed that the Punjab government should take measures to save lives and property of the people in the prospective floods.

Meanwhile, PTI activists continued their protest at Lalik Chowk and abandoned protest in front of the Governor House and the Liberty Roundabout.
