DADU: Liaquat Ali Jatoi, a former leader of PML-N who had remained chief minister of Sindh and federal minister, announced on Sunday that he would participate in the ongoing protest marches and sit-ins in Islamabad.

He said that he would represent people of Sindh along with his supporters and friends in the prolonged freedom march and independence march by the Pakistan Awami Tehreek and Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf. He was addressing a public meeting, his first after resigning from PML-N, at the residence of his friend Syed Zaffar Ali Shah in Dadu.

People of Pakistan, he said, were rallying around Imran Khan and Dr Tahirul Qadri for their just stand and legal and constitutional demands. The election results were maneuvered in Sindh as well, he said.
