SWABI: Peshawar Electric Supply Company chief executive Tariq Sadozai has approved installation of a power feeder in Kaddi village here.

The feeder will be installed at the cost of over Rs7.3 million under the ELR Programme of the federal government, says a Pesco notification.

The people have welcomed the development saying the feeder’s installation will help end power tripping during summer season and thus, ensuring smooth electric supply to them.

They said a local jirga comprising elders had persuaded the top Pesco bosses to approve the facility for the area.
