ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Thursday vowed to reveal killers of MQM MNA Tahira Asif and Balochistan MPA Hendry Masih on Saturday – the day he dubbed as ‘one nation day’ to mark a month of anti-government protests, DawnNews reported.
Speaking to participants of his party’s Azadi sit-in at D-Chowk, he said he will reveal names of two members of National Assembly and a police officer who he alleged were behind the killings.
MNA Tahira Asif of MQM and minority MPA Hendry Masih of National Party were gunned down in Lahore and Quetta earlier in June respectively.
MQM chief Altaf Hussain had claimed that the attack on the MQM lawmaker was a planned conspiracy, adding that police was trying to portray the incident as a mugging attempt.
During today’s speech, PTI Chairman Khan reiterated his stance of carrying on with the protests until Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif resigns.
Khan and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri have been protesting in front of the parliament to force resignation of Prime Minister Sharif over alleged rigging in the 2013 general elections won by his PML-N party and Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif over the Model Town incident.
Several rounds of talks have failed to resolve the over three-week-long crisis as protesters want nothing less than Sharif's ouster and fresh polls.
The government has ruled out prime minister's resignation and proposed a judicial commission to probe into the alleged rigging while Sharif has shown willingness to resign if the charges against him are proved.

I am an IK supporter but I do not think that it is wise to reveal the names like this, opening so many fronts can undermine the basic issue. We all know that behind high profile cases there are always well connected people but this is Pakistan and nobody has the courage to lay their hands on them.

BBC has published a detailed urdu report about revolution march led by Imran and padri in which they mentioned that young boys were forcibly brought in the march and paid 6,000 rupees, whereas women were paid 10,000 rupees and those having infants / babies were paid additional 5,000 rupees. They are not allowed to return to their homes. At present the majority of the people in padri's revolution march are the employees of his institution whilst Imran has Shia and qadiani people supporting him.

Honestly speaking...In-spite lots of bad said about IK's past...He still be-leaved to be the Honest and Sincerer Person.
I am now against some of his stance...but honestly he already and is achieving much more then my expectations.
He really brings and educated about the real issues of Pakistan.... Revolutionize the Electoral system and process
in Pakistan clearly removing the Status quo leaderships and political parties from Pakistan and bring Genius and
sincere people to run Pakistan..New Pakistan.
To me at present, PTI won much more and can continue to BOW-DOWN present Govt out side the parliament to
accept more and more demands....(Indirectly changing the Constitution) under the Resignation pressure on PM.
PTI must not loose this Golden opportunity and bring as many as possible issues during their Negotiation for the
benefit of suffering people of Pakistan....No matter after achieving this, they may have to wait for next elections or
even get out from politics but these achievements by PTI will remain on TOP in the history of Pakistan.
PAT support must be maintained to achieve these goals..... If this opportunity is missed then FORGET....Game
will be over for ever.

One thing is for sure Nawaz zardari & co are favorites of the west as they like use and discard corrupt leaders.

Now the question is, if he knew or knows now why not inform police earlier or go to the court. Unless some one just fed him this info. If that's the case then he should be careful, very careful as he is being used. Or--- if one if the sitting government MNA is involved then telling police was probably useless anyways as they might have arrested him rather than the MNA he is talking about.
In any case, he should be carefull as he is dealing with people who have NO respect for life, what so ever.

In a civilized country, and Pakistan is one, all criminal wrong doings must be proved in a court of law and not in streets by gangsters who would like to take laws in their own hands, become prosecutor, witness, judge, jailer and hang-man. Once the Court of Law has decided the case, it will decide the appropriate punishment for the offenders. It is only for the Court to decide if Nawaz Sharif is guilty and whether he should resign from his office. No Pakistani citizen including Mr. Imran Khan and Maulana Tahirul Qadri have the authority or justification to demand Nawaz Sharif's resignation before Courts's verdict.

If he knew all along who the murderer were of Tahira and Hendry, why did he not come out with it before or does he need to gain some thing before he comes out with the truth. It looks to me that IK is betting his future on coverups that actually makes him part of it as if he did not disclose it at the time. Or he is a cruel opportunist.

To me the real game has started now; this game is between the people who have the Vision versus people who have money earned through illegal ways but cannot think beyond that. Incase the people with brains win this game - the prosperity of the Nation lies within incase they don't the Nation will continue to move towards disaster and the corrupt segment of the society will continue to flourish- so choose for yourself. People who feel that IK has lost - a complete misunderstanding since through this dharna he has been able to initiate a powerful revolution and been able to communicate the facts that has opened the eyes of many. For all the people who have brains he has already won the game - but unfortunately as I said only those people can understand who have the intellect; to others who are unable to see the bigger picture he might have lost but I cannot blame them as they lack the vision to anticipate the change that is only round the corner.

It is the mobsters and gangsters in the streets of Islamabad led by Mr. Imran Khan and Maulana Tahirul Qadri who have passed judgment that Nawaz Sharif is guilty and must resign. I am not a supporter of Nawaz Sharif and I would prefer let him go but not through illegal trial by mobsters and gangsters because the future generations of Pakistanis will do the same mobster and gangster acts and make Pakistan an uncivilized Banana Republic.

we have become a laughing stock in the world. According to The Failed State Index, we are on the 12th ranking. There is nothing to brag about such ''Achievement''. I feel sad for the people who are a part of this senseless ''revolutionary process''. Most of the attendants have left everything behind, including their medium of earning money. I am a PTI supporter, but whats going on right now is not the way to carry out things. We are losing more than we are gaining. We should be focusing more on Flood victims, war hit victims the IDPs as they need us in the toughest times of their lives, instead of trying to justify something that cant be simply justified. This country has got a few years left in her if things continue the way they are going right now. As a Pakistani i feel awful and horrified by the bitter fact that will end our history and will put a full stop to the endless struggles by our founder Mr Jinnah made and its going to strangle the dream of our great Poet Mr Iqbal.
