SARGODHA: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Sargodha, announced on Friday the results of intermediate annual examinations 2014.

As many as 33,311 candidates appeared in the examination and 20,281 were declared successful showing a pass percentage of 66.88.

The girl students have maintained their superiority in the examination.

Rao Muhammad Talha Rahat of PAF Public School, Sargodha; Laiba Javed of KCP Model Higher Secondary School (Girls), Grot, Khushab district, and Muatar Qalb of Punjab College for Girls, Jauharbad, have jointly shared the first position with 1,015 marks each.

Marryam Kianat of Punjab College for Girls, Sargodha, got second position with 1,014 marks and Rana Muhammad Shahzeb of Punjab College of Information Technology, Sargodha, secured third position with 1,013 marks.

In pre-medical (boys), Mustafeezur Rehman of Superior College of Commerce (Boys), Sargodha, stood first with 1,008 marks, Asad Javed of Punjab College of Information Technology, Sargodha, second with 1,002 marks and Muhammad Sufian Rana of Government College, Bhakkar, got third position with 1,001 marks.

In pre-medical (girls), Laiba Javed of KCP Model Higher Secondary School (Girls), Grot, Khushab district, and Muatar Qalb of Punjab College for Girls, Jauharabad, jointly shared first position with 1,015 marks each. While Marryam Kianat of Punjab College for Girls, Sargodha, secured second position with 1,014 marks and Samreen Fatima of Punjab College (Girls), Sargodha, and Sana Ali of ILM College of Commerce (Girls), Sargodha, shared third position with 1,009 marks.

In pre-engineering (boys), Rao Muhammad Talha Rahat of PAF Public School, Sargodha, stood first with 1,015 marks, Rana Muhammad Shahzeb of Punjab College of Information Technology, Sargodha, bagged second position with 1,013 marks and Muhammad Zeeshan Ashraf of PAF Public School, Sargodha, grabbed third position with 993 marks.

In pre-engineering (girls), Taskeen Gul of Punjab College (Girls), Sargodha, stood first with 1,011 marks, Eiman Ayub of ILM College of Commerce (Girls), Sargodha, got second position with 1,001 marks and Areesha Majeed of Punjab College (Girls), Sargodha, got third position with 999 marks.

In the general science group (boys), Anees Akhtar of the Superior College of Commerce (Boys), Sargodha, stood first with 974 marks, Muhammad Usama Ghafar of District Public School and Inter College, Jauharabad, Khushab district, stood second with 972 marks and Shahzeb Akhtar of Punjab College of Information Technology, Sargodha, stood third with 966 marks.

In general science group (girls), Aqsa Mustafa of Pioneer Science College (Girls), Bhalwal, got first position with 969 marks, Hafiza Saima Zeenat Tariq of ILM College for Commerce (Girls), Sargodha, stood second with 968 marks and Amara Abid of Superior College (Girls), Sargodha, stood third with 962 marks.
