QUETTA: Three bodies were found on late Sunday in Balochistan's Khuzdar district, police said.

After spotting the bodies in Wadh Tehsil, locals informed the administration, a police official Mohammad Jan told Dawn.

The bodies were shifted to Civil Hospital Khuzdar; where one of the victims was identified as Aziz Mengal, while the other two are yet to be identified, the police official said.

"[The] victims have received bullets from a close range," he added.

According to the police official, the bodies were thrown in a deserted area in Wadh.

Khuzdar's administration started investigation into the killings, however, no group has claimed responsibility up till now.

Khuzdar has seen a sharp rise in incidents of targeted killings and bomb explosions during last few years. Worsening law and order situation has forced scores of indigenous people to migrate to other parts of Balochistan.
