DAWN did a good thing by removing the dead Palestinian's picture.
BUT it should publish a complete article highlighting the Palestinian issue and the Israeli atrocities. Does dawn have the courage to do that ? or is someone more powerful pulling Dawn's strings ?

@Indian So I sympathizes with you and agree that this is terrible, but someone in India took this picture and posted. He/She could have thrown that camera/phone at the tiger and tried to distract it but instead a pic.

@nasir Please try to know the reality before commenting everybody there tried their best so that tiger goes away from that boy but the tiger only went away from him after killing him. And this is definitely not one of the best pictures from around the world

"Best" pictures from around the world? are we being serious here...such tragic and sad pictures and dawn feels suitable to call them the best pictures?

@nasir i did not say anything about India or Pakistan.. people took videos & pics and uploaded.. thats true.. we dont live in an ideal world.. for me best pictures should bring smile at one's face & not grief.

Pathetic news and only half the story of inhumanity. The Tiger played for full 10 minutes before killing the young boy ( incidentally, who was a Muslim). Authorities just fumbled around for finding necessary means to distract or inactivate the animal. Too much of bureaucracy and too much of tiger's leniency to the so called humans who failed to act in sufficient time given by the animal to its handlers or custodians of Delhi Zoo.

@Indian ,why he/she keep taking the video instead of running to get help from the authorities. He/she is equally guilty for this boy's murder along with the zoo authorities and they were none to be seen at all, where were all those zoo keepers? Aren't they supposed to protect the public if unfortunate incident like this happened? I feel so very much sorry for his family for this tragedy. The zoo management should learn from this tragedy and find the way to keep those dots which sensitizes the wild animals near their enclosures and an alarm system near all wild animal enclosures for the public to be activated within few second to inform the keeper to avoid such tragedy in future.

While I understand what Dawn is trying to do I think it is a serious oversight failure to label a person's misery as 'Best Picture'. This is distasteful at best and outrageous at worst.

A boy killed by tiger shows inefficient zoo administration and someone there should have been sent to jail or made to resign at the least. How come the animal played with this kid for 15 mins, that's so disheartening. I am still trying to forget this incident :(
P.S. Please no India, Pakistan. The tiger was an animal and did not hold Indian identity card. It did what its gut said, the onus should lie with authorities.
