KARACHI: Malik Hamza outplayed Vinod Das to reach the men’s singles semi-finals while Ibrahim Iltifat and Sahibzada Ali reached the U-17 semis at the NBP Open ranking tennis championship being played at the DA Creek Club here on Wednesday.

Men’s singles (quarter-final):

Malik Hamza bt Vinod Das 7-6, 6-1.

U-17 singles (quarter-finals):

Ibrahim Iltifat bt Amin Shafi 6-1, 6-0; Sahibzada M. Ali bt Marib Malik 6-3 rtd; M. Raza Sawani bt Maheen Dada 6-0, 6-0.

U-13 singles (quarter-finals):

Shahzil Malik bt M. Hamza 6-1, 6-2.
