PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervez Khattak announced compensation for the dead and injured of the Hangu IDP camp bomb blast on Sunday. He announced that a compensation of Rs500,000 would be paid to each killed and Rs200,000 for each injured under the Shuhada Package, according to a statement.

Mr Khattak asked the Hangu police and the district administration to immediately contact the affected people and provide them succor as well as start a crackdown on the anti-state elements. He said that authorities in Orakzai Agency should also be contacted to eliminate outlaws, especially in the backdrop of the Waziristan operation and IDPs issue.
