FAISALABAD: The Faisalabad Pool Rounds of the 10th Dawn in Education Spelling Bee Competition will be held at Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan Auditorium of the Faisalabad Arts Council on Wednesday (today).

It is the largest school event in Pakistan organised under the Dawn in Education program. Approximately, 1,000 of the most competitive schools from across Pakistan will be participating in this engaging competition.

As many as 200 students from 25 schools will be competing amongst each other in the Faisalabad Pool Rounds. The competition will be conducted in three age groups, namely 9-11 years, 12-14 years and 15-17 years. Three students from each group will qualify to participate in the Lahore Regional Championship which will be held on Nov 1, 2014 in Lahore.

This competition is being organised by the Dawn Media Group in partnership with the United States Embassy, Islamabad. Judges are provided by the Oxford University Press.
