Imran is of the view that solar water heating has immense potential and ‘greenhouse technology”, in contrast to evacuation tubes, is a more efficient and viable option which will rapidly spread across Pakistan.
Jaan Pakistan is the name of the organisation Khizr has co-founded with his friends to launch this initiative. It has thus far received USD 20,000 as prize money and aims to venture into prototype development by the end of 2014
