CHARSADDA: Awami National Party-Wali (ANP-W) central president Begum Nasim Wali Khan on Monday said she would continue her struggle for completion of the mission of Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan and Khan Abdul Wali Khan.

“The entire Pakhtun nation stands by me in a bid to snatch its rights from usurpers,” she told a meeting of party office-bearers in the province, including presidents and general secretaries, here in Wali Bagh area.

ANP-W provincial president Fareed Toofan, central leader Nawabzada Mohsin Ali Khan and former MPAs Atifur Rehman and Abdur Rehman also spoke on the occasion.

Nasim Wali told participants that though an old person, she had come back to active politics only to complete the mission of Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan and Khan Abdul Wali Khan and will remain committed to it till my last breath,” she said.

The ANP-W president said she was optimistic that Pakhtuns would support her party in the next general elections so that it could truly represent them in national politics and help them get rights.

She criticised the politics of Asfandyar Wali and said the ANP chief deceived Pakhtuns and damaged Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan’s party by his wrong political moves. “Pakhtuns are in turmoil due to Asfandyar’s wrong policies. I will not forgive Asfandyar for his wrongdoings,” she said.

Nasim Wali asked Pakhtun leaders to part way with Asfandyar and join their ‘true political forum’, ANP-W.

She said wrong policies of Asfandyar and his ‘cronies’ had ruined ANP over the last few years.

The ANP-W president said after the Partition, Pakistan’s reins went to agents of Britishers, usurpers and thieves and thus, plunging the country into turmoil.
