Transplant science

ORGAN transplantation has changed the lives of many men and women in the world. Kidney, liver, heart, lungs, pancreas, corneas, intestines and bones are commonly transplanted. Recently the world has witnessed the first womb-transplant baby.

A uterus transplant is not a life-saving procedure like say a heart transplant but now transplant science has proven it can certainly be life-giving.

All these women who are not able to become mothers are now beneficiaries of uterine transplant, followed by the birth of a child. We should learn from the world.
