ISLAMABAD: PTI chief Imran Khan on Saturday announced to put another list of demands before the government in the party’s public gathering on November 30.

“On November 30, we will present a list of demands, including the demands to reduce prices of electricity and petroleum along with fair investigations into the allegations of rigging in the 2013 elections,” he told the participants of the sit-in at D-Chowk.

“I am very happy that people have woken up for their rights due to the sit-in in the capital. Public gatherings of other political parties cannot match with our ongoing sit-in,” Khan said.

Imran says govt should cut POL prices, further, hold fair probe into rigging allegations

He demanded the government further reduce the prices of petroleum products and electricity before November 30.

The PTI chief said the PML-N government was establishing six power plants in Punjab and would import coal from other countries to run them.

“Is it not possible for the government to set up power plants in Karachi because coal will be imported through the port of Karachi. It will cost additional money of the taxpayers to transport the imported coal from Karachi to Punjab,” he added.

He alleged that the PML-N government stopped the KP government of the PTI from setting up two hydropower plants in Chitral and Swat.

Addressing the supporters of his party from Gilgit-Baltistan, the PTI chief said he would bring a new manifesto for the people of the area.

“I know Pakistan forgot you, but I will not forget you people. The PTI government will give you your rights after coming into power,” he added.

“I have visited beautiful places in KP and Gilgit-Baltistan which could generate revenue by promoting tourism. I have never seen such beautiful places in the world.”

He said it was unfortunate that women parliamentarians, the leadership of the PPP and NGOs working for the rights of women did not say a single word against the remarks of the JUI-F chief about the women participants of the PTI sit-in.

He said the PML-N leadership pretended to be a secular or Jihadi political party according to the requirements.

“I don’t have any expectation that PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif will say something against the JUI-F chief regarding his remarks against the women participants of the PTI sit-in,” he said.

He also claimed that the JUI-F would not be able to secure a single seat in the next elections.

The PTI chief said the government was trying to create hurdles for the workers of the PTI to continue their activities for the public gathering on November 30. “No one will be able to stop the supporters of the PTI to reach the public gathering on November 30,” he said. “I am getting old but my stamina is increasing day by day due to your participation in the sit-in. I am also warming up for the final match,” he added.
