KARACHI: Athletic-built boxers of Sindh Rangers scooped four golds to win the all-Sindh Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) boxing tournament which concluded in Mirpurkhas on Thursday.

According to results, Karachi’s second string Whites finished runner-up with one gold and two silver medals while hosts Mirpurkhas finished third with a tally of one gold and one silver.

Amjad of Mirpurkhas was declared Best Boxers of the Tournament.

The ANF Commander Sindh Brig Abuzar, who graced the finals, gave away the cash prizes and trophies. Commissioner Mirpurkhas Sajid Jamal Abro was also present on the occasion.

Final results:

49 kg: Shoaib Murad (Sindh Rangers) bt Saeed Salim (Karachi Greens) 3-0

52 kg: Amjad (Mirpurkhas) bt Hamid (Karachi Whites) 3-0

56 kg: Nadir (Sindh Rangers) bt Zahid (Karachi Whites) 3-0

60 kg: Khair Mohammad (Sindh Rangers) bt Bilal (Hyderabad) 2-1

64 kg: Naqeebullah (Karachi Whites) bt Munawwar Hussain (Mirpurkhas) 3-0

69 kg: Sajid (Sindh Rangers) bt Shahzad (Hyderabad) 2-1.
