Kabaddi trials in progress

LAHORE: Trials for the final selection of Pakistan kabaddi team for taking part in the upcoming Kabaddi World Cup continued here on Wednesday at the Punjab Stadium.

The performance and fitness of each player was judged in the trials through photographs and videos.

Every raider and stopper is being given three chances each to gauge their real talent.

Head coach Ghulam Abbas Butt said the final line-up will be announced after assessing every player completely.

“We are preparing our team according to a set plan for the Kabaddi World Cup and our team will not let the nation down in the showpiece event,” he expressed his determination.

Meanwhile, men and women kabaddi probables did their routine training at the same venue.
