KARACHI: A Pakistan Air Force (PAF) aircraft crashed in Gadap area of Karachi on Friday and the pilot was killed, according to officials.
“A Mirage aircraft, while on a routine night operational training mission, crashed 30 miles from Karachi near Gadap area,” said a PAF spokesperson.
The pilot, Squadron Leader Tanvir Ahmed, embraced martyrdom.
No loss of civilian life and property was reported.
A board of inquiry has been ordered by the Air Headquarters to determine the cause of the accident, said the official statement.

The Mirages continue to fall down from the skies. What is PAF doing about their maintenance and replacement? How many have crashed only this year?
