They are sitting in an alphabetical order. Modi is being childish for not handshaking with Nawaz. I respect Nawaz for his composure. This is another wasteful summit.

Wherever he goes..always carries the same topic on every level, every platform & the matter of concern is nobody pays a heed to him (here 'he' refers to NS & 'topic' is J&k). Didn't utter a word about terrorism on the other hand he says 'i want a dispute free South-Asia', may be he said in a sarcastic manner.. !

@Imran In fact Nawaz Sarrif is only person who is not leader of his country. He is just representing his country on behalf of certain groups in Pakistan. Modi is within his rights not to shake hands with him or ignore Nawaz because we along with our leader think that it is complete waste. As far as Indians are concerned Bhutan and Sri Lanka are more important than Pakistan. Believe it or not.

May be wasteful from Pakistan's point of view but a number of issues got resolved on the sidelines.

The spirit of SAARC is cooperation. Modi and Sharif have violated that spirit by not greeting or meeting each other.

@Shudar-Indian, we all the truth so lets not pretend. Pakistan can become a superpower too only if the politicians and Army decide too but they are more interested in defeating India then doing good for Pakistan.

@Dinesh Singh Interesting how Indians follow the developments of such an "unimportant" country such as Pakistan. I have never seen Indians talk much about Bhutan and Nepal here. But they go berserk when so much as a cracker goes off in Pakistan . India however , doesn't matter all that to Pakistan since at least I have never bothered with an Indian newspaper or a news channel to find out what's going on there.

I agree India has more to give to SAARC countries minus Afghanistan. Pakistan doesn't even have access to Nepal, Bhutan, Bang, SL - they are all connected to India. India cannot access Afghanistan without going through Pak - just not possible, so ultimately what will happen is Pak will make a new bloc with Afghanistan, Iran, Turkey etc, and SAARC will be an India, Bhutan, Nepal, Bang, SL club - which is fair enough as India / Pakistan will not resolve their issues for next 50 years! Sorry for the pessimism but that is reality in my view....
